Choosing frameworks based on your goals

Open-ended design frameworks are best suited for instructional goals that fall into the higher levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy, such as Application, Analysis, Evaluate, and Create. (For more on Bloom's taxonomy, see Chapter 4.) From a pragmatic perspective, open-ended frameworks also work well in situations where you have sufficient time to support exploration and collaborative problem solving.
